Hopefully most of my watchers now my OC Rosie (She one of my favorites!). Anyway, she was originnaly made as a Baccano! Fan-character but I've moved on since then. Oh I still love Baccano! but I want to expand Rosie's story and the limitations of a fan-character are making it challenging so I decided instead of starting from scratch I would re-design Rosie and her story.

I know it's not that important but it gets it's own journal page.

Social Status: Starts off as lower-middle class but after she marries she moves to high-middle class.
Marital Status: Single for a large majority of the story but eventually marries Demetri.
Schooling: Rosie was given the best education her family could give her and what she could get in the early 1930's.
Alliance: The Carriano's.

Background Story: Rosalie was the only child born to her parent's Lillian and Lucas Hudson.  She was born in New York where her father did many odd jobs but he was mainly a craftsmanship jobs. Lillian homeschooled Rosalie and made sure that she was skilled in the arts primarily music.  Lily would often sing Rosie to sleep and tell her stories that took place long ago.  Lily relied on Rosie as a companion and often sheltered her.  When Rosie was 13 her favorite uncle moved to Chicago to start a book shop and get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.  He was one of Rosie's favorite people and the move saddened her greatly.  As Rosie grew up her mother let her go more and more once she realized that her child needed to be free.  When she was 19 Rosie decided to move to Chicago to be with her uncle and to live out her dreams.  It was 1929 when she did this and that is where her story begins…

Appearance: Rosie's appearance usually reflects her emotions. She has a small dark mole under her right eye.  She has a shy expression usually and walks tall and straight. Rosie was raised with the need for perfect manners. She is very polite and values others who are polite too. She is very gentle and graceful.

Complexion: Clear with a blushing glow.
Hair Color: Light Brown

Hair Type: Rosie's hair parts down the middle with a fair amount on her forehead.  There are some curls that make up the ends of her hair.  Rosie usually wears it down but will sometimes put it up especially when she performs.

I've been thinking a lot about a lot of different things and I just wanna right them down.

Fan-Characters/OC

I love fan characters as much as I love OCs.  In fact I love making them and that is probably why I have so many.  I love that people respect each other's OC and fan characters because I think that is the way things are suppose to be.  A personal fan character is not coming out and saying, "This is the way things are and no one can think otherwise," it's a person creating something based on something they like.  I think that making a fan character is more work than actually making an OC because although you are not building a story by scratch you are fitting a character into a story that is already in place and it can be challenging.  Another part of the fan character challenge is support from the fans.  I'm not saying that everyone has to love the fan character or even approve of it but at least be respectful about the fact that you have put so much effort into designing a character and creating art with it.  Sometimes I am hesitant with posting fan characters especially if I have created them in a relationship with a primary character from the original story.  It can be scary because I don't know the fan's reaction.  It took me months to work up the courage to post any of my fan character Rosie because she is in a relationship with the character Luck from Baccano!.  This doesn't mean that I want fans to do anything I am just showing my work and hoping at least someone will like it.  I say that we shouldn't be afraid to post our fan characters, because everyone has just as much right as the next person whether there skill level is the same.  
Celebrate fan made characters and original characters! Life would be so boring without them!

Canon/Non-Canon Couples/Shipping
As some of you may know I tend to like more canon couples...actually that is mostly only what I like -- I can't think of any non-canon couples I like. Actually I do remember, , Wanna know?  If anyone cares ask me in the comments.  Anyway getting back on track... I have always used the terms canon, non-canon, and shipping without actually knowing what they mean and since they are not in the dictionary I turned to urban dictionary LOL.  This was the definition I though described it best -- "Canon" is a term used by fans of anime and manga. Two characters that end up as a couple in the end of a series is considered canon. Canon can also be counted for when two characters don't end up as a couple in the end due to complications, but proclaim that they love each other anyway.  This is what it says about non-canon -- "non-canon" word used by those who write fanfiction. It refers to a idea, storyline, or pairing ect. that was not promoted in the original work the fanfiction was based on. Antonym of canon. Both of these definitions are pretty much what I always thought and I have to admit that I don't really understand non-canon but I would not call myself a CANON-NAZI because aren't fan-characters non-canon?!  How does that work?  To end with the whole shipping thing --  "ship" Short for romantic relationship, popularized in fanfiction circles. V: To endorse a romantic relationship.  What is the deal with shipping wars?  Does anyone care that much?  Yes we all like the couples we like but do we have to fight about it?  I say screw the shipping wars.  I accept all ships although I have my favorites.  I will never discriminate against a ship just because it goes against my ship. Love and acceptance is the answer.

Lots of stuff has been going on.  My grandma is sick in the hospital and I have been with her every weekend and working during the week.  That leaves little time for drawing but I have been wanting to soooo bad.  My current obession is Baccano!  New group that I am now a proud member of below is full of Baccano fanart!!!
